Item details

The use of high-quality raw materials creates a 3D printer filament that is particularly easy to process. Using a state-of-the-art manufacturing process, very low manufacturing tolerances are achieved, which leads to convincing printing results with all FDM 3D printers. Each coil is sealed in a high-quality bag.

- Made in Switzerland

- small diameter and roundness tolerances

- easy to print

Our wood filament is a modified PLA with 30% wood fibers. The printed objects feel like wood. When printing, it also smells of wood. The filament is a bit brittle (more so than pure PLA), but strong enough to be supplied on spools.
Therefore, insert the filament carefully into your printer and make sure that there are no tight radii or kinks in the filament.
Since wood absorbs a lot of moisture, it is advisable to always store the filament in airtight packaging and to dry it again if necessary.

Characteristics:

This filament is based on normal PLA with a wood fiber content of 30%. The wood-plastic mixture can be processed like PLA. The wood content gives your creation an appearance almost like real wood.

After printing, the object looks and smells like real wood. It can be worked like real wood. The printed object can be sanded and painted.

The color can be changed during printing by changing the nozzle temperature.

At 190°C the surface becomes lighter and at 230°C the surface becomes darker.
