Item details

The use of high-quality raw materials creates a 3D printer filament that is particularly easy to process. Using a state-of-the-art manufacturing process, very low manufacturing tolerances are achieved, which leads to convincing printing results with all FDM 3D printers. Each coil is sealed in a high-quality bag.

- Made in Switzerland

- small diameter and roundness tolerances

- easy to print

Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene is a copolymer in which, among other things, butadiene is grafted onto the molecular chains. This makes the ABS a lot more impact resistant than before the modification. An additional 10% glass fibers are added to increase rigidity.

ABS GF10 shrinks less than unreinforced ABS and is therefore much easier to print because the material warps much less and therefore adheres better to the printing plate. Other advantages of glass fiber reinforcement are higher hardness, heat resistance and significantly higher tensile strength.

The disadvantage of glass fiber reinforcement is the lower elongation at break. In addition, the glass fibers cause increased abrasion in the nozzle. We therefore recommend using a hardened steel nozzle to print large objects. An odor develops during the melting of ABS filament. Make sure your printer is in a well-ventilated area and avoid breathing these vapors. Make sure that no persons who are sensitive to chemicals, children or pets stay in this room for a long time.

- Very high rigidity
- Heat resistant up to 100°C
- High hardness
- Low warpage
- Low shrinkage
