Speed and precision
The K2 Plus achieves printing speeds of up to 600 mm/s and acceleration of up to 30,000 mm/s². Despite this high speed, the average noise level at standard speeds is below 50 dB.
FOC closed-loop motors
The closed servo motors on the extruder and all XYZ axes offer high torque and outstanding responsiveness with 32,768 microsteps per revolution. The FOC control with variable voltages reduces heat build-up and prevents blockages due to overheating.
Apus all-metal extruder with tri-metal heat protection nozzle
The Direct Drive Apus all-metal extruder with tri-metal heat protection nozzle enables precise and smooth extrusion at printing temperatures of up to 350 °C. This allows the processing of high-performance materials.
Automatic anti-tilt leveling
Two optical distance sensors on the Z-axis and a strain gauge in the print head ensure accurate leveling of the build plate. This happens automatically and ensures reliable print quality.
High-performance heating system
The K2 Plus' 800-watt AC high-performance heating system offers overheat protection and switches off automatically in the event of unexpected errors. This guarantees safety and reliability during the printing process.
Cameras for print calibration and monitoring
The K2 Plus is equipped with a nozzle camera for print calibration and a chamber camera for print monitoring. These enable printing errors to be detected and corrected in real time.
Creality CFS - Intelligent filament management system
The K2 Plus Combo includes the intelligent filament management system CFS (Color Filament System). This multi-material system with 4 spool slots supports multi-color printing and the use of different materials. Up to 16 colors are possible when combining several CFS units.
Compatibility and Support
The CFS can accommodate four 1kg spools with a diameter of 197-202mm. Compatible filaments include PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA and PA-CF, while flexible materials such as TPU and wet filaments such as PVA/BVOH are not supported.
